FAST Annual R&D Report

The 2008-9 edition of the Annual Parliamentary Report on Assistive Technology Research and Development was laid before parliament in July 2009 and is freely available to download. Drawn from our database of information about AT research and development, FAST has produced this report for the past eight years.

The Department of Health have a statutory requirement to produce such a report (pursuant to Section 22 of the 1970 Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act) and the FAST report documents the projects funded by the UK government and gives active links through to the project information that is regularly updated on the FAST database.

Only work funded (directly or indirectly) by the UK government is featured in the report but FAST's database incorporates work funded from a wide range of sources.
