Name: Accessible Design in the Digital World: new media, new users, new technologies
Description: After the successful conference on "Accessible Design in the Digital World" held in Dundee in August 2005, a second conference on the same themes and style will be held. As before, the conference will provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to discuss and debate the possibilities for accessibility and usability in the emerging world of Web 2.0, ubiquitous and pervasive technologies and user experience. The conference will be small and informal, with plenty of time for discussions, and a mix of contributions of people from academia, industry and the voluntary sectors, all factors which contributed to the success of the first ADDW conference. A workshop on web accessibility will be held on Monday 22nd September, with the main conference on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th September.
